This is a new addition to American Dream Vacations Paris Apartment listings.  It was renovated in February, 2002 and is described by the owner as a 2 star quality.  It is a small one bedroom but will accommodate up to 6 persons at a very modest price.   The apartment is a two floor walk up with no elevator and looks out to an open courtyard.  It is a quiet location, well located at the top of the Marais near the Musée des Arts et Metiers and Place des Republic.  It is just minutes from the Métro and very convenient to local shopping.

The apartment has one small bedroom with two double beds and a living room with a sofa bed that makes another double bed. Located off  the living room is a cozy dining alcove that can accommodate up to six people. The green and yellow paint scheme and the original furnishings highlight the stylish art deco decor period. In the bedroom you'll find two art deco bedside tables and a cupboard and in the living room are paintings and a buffet- all dating back to the 1930's.

The kitchen is well equipped for light cooking with a electric stove top, microwave oven, refrigerator, and a clothes washing machine (no dryer). Also in the kitchen is a toaster, two types of coffee makers- an automatic drip coffee maker and a coffee press, tea kettle,  plates, cups, and utensils necessary for up to six people.

The bathroom has a toilet, basin, and shower. Each room is electrically heated. The two windows in the apartment overlook an open courtyard.

  • Cable TV receiving CNN, BBC and a variety of French stations

  • Outgoing local phone calls are free, incoming international calls are free and having a prepaid phone card  or a calling card allows outgoing calls to anywhere

  • Clean bed linens and towels included

  • Easy access to several metro and bus stations
