The Paris Penthouse Studio Vacation Apartment is located on the fashionable Premier Arrondissment on the Right Bank, near the Louvre, in the very center of  Paris. It is on the top or sixth floor with an elevator to the fifth floor.

Our cozy  Paris Vacation apartment home has undergone a complete face lift from carpet to furniture during the spring of 2002. The private roof top terrace looks out upon 3/4ths of Paris with a spectacular view of the Sacre Coeur and Monmartre which is lit up at night. The rooftop terrace is the perfect spot for an evening nightcap or an afternoon picnic. Outdoor furnishings are provided.

Our Paris Penthouse Apartment will sleep 4 persons in the same room. The main bed is a French Queen Size Bed (140 cm).

The Trundle bed provides a full, thick, single (90 cm) mattress for each of the two twin beds.  The bottom bed slides out from under the top bed on wheels and can be moved by the door, freeing night time center space in the studio much as is pictured here.  The second single would be where the photographer stood to take this picture..

 

You can do some sumptuous cooking in this little kitchen which is in a  separate room from the studio.  You are provided with utensils for  light cooking which include a 4 burner stove, micro oven, toaster and coffeemaker.

The new bathroom has eliminated that short little bath tub and placed instead a proper shower and sink with a long shelf, plenty of room for your toiletries

SIZE: This vacation studio sleeps 4 persons maximum on a French queen and a double sofa bed.

BEDS: 1 Queen size bed fit for a King. The couch is a trundle type day bed with another bed under that pops up to form two singles.  They are movable.  This is the most expensive trundle bed that was available to purchase.  Each bed has a very thick mattress.

VACATION RENTAL FEATURES:  Fully equipped Kitchen with Microwave, refrigerator and stove. It is equipped for light cooking.  Satellite Color TV  provides 91 channels including CNN.

There is a bathroom separate from the WC. The main room has the bed, day trundle bed, TV, Stereo, Dresser and phone. For your convenience we have added an iron, ironing board, hairdryer, telephone for local calls (you can receive international calls that are pre-paid). You can also call out to the USA using ATT, MCI or Sprint prepaid phone cards available in Costco, BJ's and Sam's Club or other USA phone card. 

* The apartment is cleaned and fully equipped with bedding, towels etc. for your arrival.

Monmartre and the Church of the Sacre Cour.  It is illuminated at night.

 

 The stairway to the Stars.

 
The Tour Monparnasse.  Go to the top for a better view of Paris than from the Eiffel Tower.

 

 Lunch or midnight wine and cheese are a delight on the private rooftop terrace.

 

 The Opera is just 3 blocks away.   The Roissy bus comes in there direct from CDG.

This apartment will compare very favorably with any 3 Star Superior twin hotel room in Paris.  The Terrace is an additional Plus.
There are several take out places near the apartments which serve excellent food.  Our rooftop is a perfect place to enjoy these meals.   The cost is less than a restaurant and the ambiance is certainly unbeatable.

For stays less than 3-4 nights the cleaning fee is $120, 5-6 nights is $90  and for 7 or more nights is $50.  Sorry about this but I can really purchase new sheets, pillow cases, towels and wash cloths in the USA  for what the local laundry charges me to pick up clean and deliver. 

3rd and 4th person = $10 per person per night  (based on how many beds are prepared.  For two persons one main bed is prepared, if two beds are pepared for 2 persons then there is an extra fee of $10 per night.)

  • There is no daily maid service.
